- Is Rome an expensive destination?
- Less than you would think. Its cost index sits just above London, and Rome costs less than Florence or Venice. The hotel market is very wide, which pushes prices down, and most of the great monuments are free. The real expenses are the Colosseum, the Vatican, and restaurants at the foot of the sights.
- What's the best time to visit Rome?
